Dave King is a drummer and composer from Minneapolis. He is a founding member of jazz groups The Bad Plus and Happy Apple. He has appeared on more than 100 recordings and played with many jazz luminaries and notable peers. He also created and starred in a renowned drum instructional video series called Rational Funk.
